Hmm, what about featuring less abstract-y and more "what does architecture do for humans" shots every once in a while? I like quite a few of the DDs, but they're all very devoid of humans and very... well, "this is the building, do with it what you think you must" instead of "we build that for humans to interact with", if you get what I mean?
I know what you mean, but there's a tendency of photographers to portray more architecture as an object and leave people out of it. I'd feature more of what you're suggesting if I found any worth featuring. It's the low number of such photographs that makes it less likely to end up a DD.
Makes sense. I think that a lot of people are after that kind of abstract photo in the first place, so that's a general tendency in the galleries, I suppose. The mindset, maybe...
